Manual Ray Schultz Field 2019
Tax deductible
Alumni and friends of Emmerich Manual High School: we need your help!
The football stadium and field at Manual are in desperate need of rehab and repair—and just a few weeks before the season. Signs have fallen down, the concession stand and announcer’s booth are crumbling, and the bleachers are in a state of major disrepair. Mark Bowell (‘81) has spearheaded an effort to restore the facility and get it in shape to host games this fall. Based on Mark’s work with a contractor, the rehab budget entails a cost of $15,000.
We only have a few weeks until the first game, so we need to get to work right away. In addition to providing key leadership, Mark has pledged $2,500 of his own funds to jumpstart the project. Others, including longtime Manual alumni leader Gordon Durnil, are also getting the word out. It is a big goal, but there is strength in numbers, and as always, “Manual pride is on our side.” Please consider a $25, $50 or a $100 contribution; any amount will help.
The fiscal agent for the project is People Helping People Network, a charitable organization run by a great friend of Manual, Jeff Cardwell (owner of Cardwell Do It Best Home Center just down Madison from the school).
The project name is “Manual Ray Schultz Field 2019.” If we achieve our goal, any excess funds will go to support Manual.
