Manuel Alves - Emergency Fund

On January 10th, 2025, beloved father, cousin, friend and brother, Manuel Alves, was in a severe, single-car accident. Although a majority of Manuel's family lives in Toronto, Canada, he was happily residing in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal.

When his family discovered the news that he may not make it, 6 of them (including 4 of his siblings, and his 2 children) had to suddenly leave their work & families to fly to Portugal.

Manuel was then flown from the Azores, to Lisbon in order to receive facial reconstruction surgery and rehab.

Manuel fought valiantly for 79 days, and passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2025. Your support will go directly to the Alves family in the wake of this terrible loss. Thank you.
