Hi everyone,

It's with sadness that I write my dad, Manuel Barajas Jr, passed on October 27th. He passed away suddenly after not feeling well. He passed while my brother Jamie was trying to take him to the doctor. Everyone has been doing our best since his passing. Jamie has since come to live with us and the girls.

Death always seems to come with costs and always more than we expect.

We are trying to get the funeral arranged and his ashes placement. His wish was to be placed next to my brother Jonathan so our family can visit them together. We are lucky there is a spot available just 3 spaces over from Jonathan. So we are now working to make his last wish a reality.

The cemetery will not let us hold services and place him by my brother until the spot is paid off and it is more expensive than we thought. If you can help in anyway we would appreciate it greatly. Thank you all for your loving gift.

My dad was a Vietnam Veteran as most of you know. We are working with the VA to cover as much of the costs as possible, but it won't cover everything. With my wife, Rachelle, and I taking care of my brother's girls, Bianca and Bryannah, for the past 8 years...the added cost doesn't come lightly.
