Manuel Hernandez Memorial

Manuel Hernandez, devoted husband and father, professional educator and community champion, passed away on November 10, 2021 after suffering a stroke. His medical challenges rushed him and his family to Dallas, TX for emergency medical care. This fund will offset the medical and travel costs incurred by Manuel's family.

Manuel was an amazing man in every way and cared for each person he met. He was always kind, gentle, respectful, and grateful. He always found a way to give to those around him. He was a seasoned professional academic advisor at Doña Ana Community College for 17 years and an NMSU employee for over 20 years. He advised and mentored thousands of college and high school students and his impact and legacy will continue to reverberate in our community for years to come.
