Manuel (Manny) Soto Memorial Fund

On Labor Day, September 4, 2023, Manny lost his long battle with cancer at the VA Hospital in Houston, Texas, and is now in the company of the Lord. His burial will be in the near future at the VA Cemetery in Houston, Texas. In the interim, his wife needs assistance with end of life and living expenses in this difficult time. He had no life insurance and was unable to work due to this illness, so this is an especially difficult time for his family. Manny served in the US Air Force in the Vietnam War as a weapons specialist honorably defending our freedom. Manny and Jo Anne, his wife of 47 years, fought courageously against the brutal effects of cancer for many years, caused by Agent Orange. Manny and Jo Anne have been my husband’s true friends for 38 years, my friends for 18 years. The family needs help with funeral expenses and Jo Ann needs help with living expenses and purchasing an inexpensive vehicle, until the slow process of establishing her benefits is completed.
