Many Hands and Many Hearts

As a longtime quilter, I know the comfort that a handmade quilt can bring. Making a quilt for someone who is going through a rough time can have a huge effect on their outlook. That person knows there is someone who wants to lessen their pain by making them a handmade quilt.

I know I cannot give a quilt to everyone in need, but I would love to try. So my goal is to start a not-for-profit called Many Hands and Many Hearts. The mission will be to make compassion quilts and distribute them locally. Right now, we are already donating at least 20 quilts a month to Sacred Heart Medical Center where they are mainly distributed to their palliative care patients. We have also been able to donate quite a few to children in crisis though Bags of Love. Already, we are growing every month.

I would love to tackle this endeavor on my own but financially, that is unrealistic. I need help setting up the websites and social medias, as well as the legal and government costs for setting up the not for profit organization.
