Pitching In For Paul

Please join us in helping Paul and Melissa Nordquist with medical expenses. In February 2015, Paul was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. He has beaten the odds in large part because of treatment in New York at the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in combination with treatment in Tacoma, WA. While he lives in Washington, Paul has traveled monthly to New York for treatment. In the last few weeks, Paul's health has declined and Melissa took a leave of absence from work. This week, Paul entered into hospice care. Money from this fundraiser will go towards their expenses during this difficult time. Please help us in supporting them. 

About Paul:
Anyone who knows Paul Nordquist loves him! Paul is a quiet, humble soul with a wonderful sense of humor. He's a wealth of knowledge (think encyclopedia), a sharp mind, engaging conversationalist, generous and loving friend, and accomplished athlete. With the South End Rowing Club, Paul took 1st place in the North American Open Water Rowing Challenge, rowed to and from Petaluma and China Beach numerous times, competed in many a Tahoe Regatta, and helped win the triathlon against the Dolphins for many years. Paul has donated much of his time and energy to the rowing and open water communities, serving on the South End Rowing Club board and piloting scores of swims.
