Maple Street Courts Project
Donation protected
Having noticed the need for drastic rehab of the basketball courts on Maple Street (across from the A-C Pool), a grass-roots effort was established to breathe new life back into the Maple Street basketball court.
Along with the restoration of the basketball court, the addition of two pickleball court overlays has been added to enhance the recreation options at this park.
The total project includes:
• Resurface of the basketball courts
• Surface painting and court layout
• New basketball posts, backboards, and nets
• Portable pickleball nets
• Fencing
To accomplish this renovation, funds of $45,000 are needed. To date, $25,000 in donations have been generously provided by area businesses, community groups, municipalities and individuals.
The project is underway, but we still need another $20,000 to complete it.
We are seeking community donations to get us across the finish line. Once the donation goal is reached, the work can be completed with the courts ready for use and the games can begin.
Please consider donating to improve our community’s recreation options.
