Our friend Don

Our dear friend, Don DeWeese, passed unexpectedly and heartbreakingly, from this life to life eternal, on July 6.

As his wife, Liz, and their children contend with this deep grief, they are also preparing to move across the country, where Liz will begin a new ministry. The most helpful thing we can do as their community/communion, is make sure they don’t have to worry for a second, about gas, hotels, snacks, and entertainment on their way.

Many of you have asked how you can help or reached out to Liz, wondering if she and the kids needed anything. This is the tangible need today…while tomorrow will hold its own challenge, I hope we can make this tiny part of the journey a little easier.
