Mar Vista Mariners Baseball Program Fundraiser

Mar Vista High School Baseball is the only high school baseball program in Imperial Beach, CA, and has been serving Imperial Beach and South San Diego kids for more than 60 years. 
Last year, our Mariners made it to the CIF San Diego Section Division 4 Quarterfinals, and we are setting our sights on improving on that finish. We have a good mix of talented boys at all grade levels, so we should be successful for quite a few years to come. Bobby Rector, who graduated from Mar Vista in 1992, then went on to a 6 year professional career with the San Francisco Giants and Florida Marlins, is back as the new Head Coach, bringing his experiences to the field to help to build proficiency in the program.  
Budget cuts in our district are putting a bit more of a strain on our athletic programs. The need to replace broken down equipment, adding much needed infield dirt to our field, and replacing 4 year old uniforms have made it a priority for us to get out and fund raise. Our goal this year is to raise enough money to replace the nets in our batting cage, replace our broken portable batting cage, buy uniforms, get infield dirt, and purchase tarps to protect the pitcher's mound and home plate from rain. Our estimated costs this year will be well beyond $10,000, so we are asking for your help in reaching our goals.
Our high school season kicks off on February 9, 2019, and with your support we can help to make our kids' experiences memorable, as we push to win a CIF championship.
