Help young widowed Marah and her two small children evacuate

Save the lives of two children who lost their father since they opened their eyes in this damn war.

They lost their father, don't let them lose their childhood

Hello world, is there anyone who can hear me?

I am Marah. This war has robbed me of my name and stolen everything from my life... Beginning with my husband, Bahaa, the lover of my life and days, the first and last owner of my heart, the virtuous son, the supportive husband, the caring father and , the reason for my comfort, the reason of my joy, my precious jewel.

While Bahaa was also working on the car at a time when means of transportation during the war were almost impossible, and if they were available, they were at a ridiculous price. Bahaa helped many people and took them to a safe place without even taking a fee.

He used to tell me this is all I can offer people, so will I abstain from this? I remember one time he said to me: A person rode with me and I drove him a very long distance from the far north to the far south. He did not have money to pay me the fare, and he was very embarrassed by me. He had a bag of lemons, so I told him to give me one so that he would not be ashamed of me.

November 3, 2023
On November 3, 2023, on his way to his family and children, heading from northern to southern Gaza, he and his sister’s husband were martyred in cold blood and remain lying on the ground to this day. I could not even say goodbye to him or find a grave for him. Thus, I lost my husband and became a widow before I was 24 years old, and my children lost their father when they were still children

My house, which we recently finished paying the installments for, has become ashes. “My house, which I used to protect from dust entering it.”

My husband's car, which we bought so he could work as a taxi driver to bring money, was destroyed a week later. I lost everything in one step.

My daughter, Sanaa, 3 years old, started dreaming about her father (she told me when she woke up at dawn from her sleep, my father came and fed me red jelly with sugar), in light of the high cost of sugar in Gaza.

I am sorry, my daughter. Perhaps if we stay here, you will not be able to enter nursery or even school. In this country, there is no right to education even in it.

My child Adam, whose father died before he heard the word dad from his mouth, started saying it to his grandfather. In this miserable country, love stories end very quickly and families disappear within a very short period.

Here in Gaza, the mother becomes pregnant and rejoices greatly. She endures the arduous pains of pregnancy, then birth comes, and she once again endures pain that exceeds the seventh heaven. Then she gives birth after difficulty, and then comes breastfeeding, then care, attention, and staying up at night, and so on until she sees her child has become a young man, and she fears for him in the eyes of people. If she looked at him after she had spent her life and comfort and exhausted her body for him, then with ease, without blinking an eye, and in no more than a minute, he would be killed in cold blood and thrown on the ground as if nothing had happened.

Here in Gaza, she has no right to even see him, say goodbye to him, or bury him.

This country is not suitable for marriage, childbearing, work, education, or construction. It is only a country of orphans and widows, a country of the dead, wounded, and injured, a country of tents, huts, and streets. Your support will never bring my husband back, but it will build a future for two children who have lost their father since they opened their eyes. Help me get out of Gaza.

From the organizer team:

We are Sarah Ahmed (located in New York, USA) and Kate Mobley (located in Indiana, USA). Our team is fundraising on behalf of Marah after befriending her and her sister online. Marah and her two children are sheltering in Rafah and desperately need to evacuate. All funds will be transferred to her family upon necessity.

Marah and her two children have lost everything in this ongoing genocide, especially including her beloved husband and their father. Every day she waits for hours in line to get basic supplies for her small children. These funds will help her evacuate with her family and acquire these necessities such as diapers, food, and clothing.

Details and Logistics
The funds will be transferred via PayPal to Marah and her family. The money will be given to Hala Consulting and Tourism, which is charging between $5000 and $7000 to evacuate. If we are able to raise more than $21,000, additional funds will be used to evacuate Marah's elderly sick father, who has a heart condition, and her mother. Beyond these costs, money will go towards diapers, milk, eggs, sugar, basic groceries, medicine for Marah's son, and living supplies.
