In Memory Of Maranda Brianne Witt

By FAR the hardest thing in my life I have now faced is losing a child. I don’t even know what to say right now, as this pain is indescribable.
Unexpectedly on Saturday, September 3, 2022, Maranda lost her battle with addiction. Maranda just turned 26 years old. My second born and mother to my granddaughter Marissa. She fought a never-ending battle of addiction, and I was powerless in getting her the help she needed and deserved.
Memories of her childhood and the good things she did remind us all that she wasn’t just an addict, she is…was… also a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a friend and a mother to Marissa. She will be missed by so many of us. I miss her SO much already and would do anything to take her place and bring her back! She deserved so much more than this! I have failed and it hurts!! I still can’t believe I am writing this.
It is SO difficult for me to reach out for help. I have problems speaking about this, so if I’ve ignored your calls I am sorry and I hope you can understand and forgive me.
The reality of what Maranda suddenly left us with is a burden not meant to be carried alone. Sudden end of life expenses are costly, and she deserves a great final resting place. I want to help her daughter, Marissa, financially as well. At 9 yrs old she lost her Mother, forever. Any help would be greatly appreciated and will help with the stress of this overwhelmingly difficult time.
Thank you in advance for all of the love, thoughts, prayers, and contributions made. And please, if you are struggling with addiction, help IS available.
