Marathon 42 for Multicap Tasmania

Start getting your teams ready. Athlete 42  is hosting a marathon row fundraiser for Multicap Tasmania .

Each team will compete in a 42km stationary row with all proceeds going to Multicap Tasmania.

There is no limit to how many people can form a team - be it 1 or 100. Each team will compete to make 42km first. Alongside a Multicap Tasmania team comprised of staff and clients, 3 athletes will be competing as individuals to make the 42km mark first.

Anyone is welcome to join in the challenge by forming a team of their own.
It's going to be BIG!

You don't need to get your exercise gear on to get involved. Any donations are greatly appreciated to support Multicap Tasmania further their opportunities for the health and wellbeing of some amazing people in our community.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.

What will the funds go towards?
Multicap Tasmania empowers those with a disability to reach and be recognised for their full potential, express their individuality and engage in our community.

Funds raised will go towards resources that will support outdoor and recreational pursuits for the health and happiness of so many.

Jason Ling, Head Coach at Athlete 42 coaches the Multicap Tasmania Gym program at Athlete 42 every week. He's doing an amazing job!

Who are the athletes competing?
Two athletes have been revealed so far...

Joey Cotton
Easily one of the best team mates/life mates you will find!
Joey's greatest asset: His mindset shift when things get tough, he finds a way to survive!

Jamie Hayward
Jamie is more than happy to go to that ‘dark place’ with his training. He pushes himself to the absolute limit! A great training buddy, an excellent motivator and leads by example.
