Marathon Madness in Honor of Debra A Mader
Tax deductible
This year I will be doing something I never thought possible...I'll be running my first 26.2 miles at the Nashville Rock 'n' Roll Marathon! The event is at the end of April which I have learned is Esophageal Cancer Awareness Month. Sophie will be running it with me and each month we will have a new fundraising goal in honor of Mom. Each month I will complete a challenge IF our fundraising goals are met! The previous months challenges can be seen below!
We have hit each of our monthly goals and for March it will be $3,713 (13 was moms favorite number)! If we HIT our goal I will be singing Karaoke to one of my Moms favorite songs! It will be live-streamed so ALL can watch it happen! This may be the last challenge before the Marathon so how about we go three for three!
For the month of January, the goal was $500 and the challenge was a dunk into the Pacific Ocean and finishing off with a corn dog roll in the sand. We crushed our goal and set our sights for $3000 for the month of February! We achieved our goal and I painted my fingernails Green and White for St. Patties day!
The money we are raising will benefit Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association, Inc., and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
