Marathon to raise money for my brothers school

Hi,

My name is Rebecca and I am 8 years old.

I have two brothers and a sister.

One of my brothers, James, has a learning disability and is non-verbal, he is such an amazing boy though.

He goes to a school called Queen Elizabeth II.

The QEII school is for children with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, or complex needs.

They have helped him a lot since he has joined, he is now so much happier and calmer at home since he has been there.

I want to raise money for QEII because of my disabled brother and because I want to give a massive thank you to QEII staff and everyone there!

I am going to try and raise some money for them with the help of my Dad.

Me and my Dad are going to run a marathon between us.

My dad is going to run his at the Run Barns Green half marathon and I am going to do my half broken down into smaller amounts at Horsham ParkRun and in the evenings.

I really want to raise money for James’ school to show him how much I love him and how proud of him I am.
