Our Marathon to Fight Malnutrition
Donation protected
Hello friends, family, and co-workers!
Our names are Haaris Zeb, Hason Khan, and Jonathan Larios and this November, we will be running the Philadelphia Marathon. We have decided to run for many reasons but will be raising funds for Kali to Kali (Village to Village).
Kali to Kali is a non-profit dedicated to providing sustained education and wellness efforts throughout the world. Through the last two years Kali to Kali has worked in Rwanda and has built eight water tanks and over one hundred vegetable/fruit gardens in the country. Kali to Kali continues to support clean water initiatives and continue to address the malnutrition issue that plague many villages throughout Rwanda.
The money raised will be directly going towards The Batwa of Cyaruzinge village- a historically marginalized community that suffers from severe impoverishment, poor health, and high levels of unemployment and underemployment. The funds will allow for children to be fed nutritious meals in school and allow for the establishment and training of a village health committee. In addition this money will allow provision of nutrition and health education workshops to be held as well as allow for the construction of kitchen gardens for needy families. 100% of all money raised will be going directly to our project.
We greatly appreciate any support at all and hope that you can join us on our journey and help us reach our goal to continue the fight against malnutrition together!
Thank you in advance,
-Haaris, Hason, and Jonathan
