Marble City’s Climb of Croagh Patrick

Marble City Boxers, Coaches and parents will climb Croagh Patrick on June 20th in a bid to raise money for 2 causes. Firstly we want to raise as much money as possible to put towards acquiring a defibrillator for the club. It has become an absolute necessity to have at hand in recent times. To put things into perspective if someone was to collapse, 9 minutes is all it takes for someone to die without a defibrillator present which is scary to think about. We’d hope we will never need to use one but if the issue ever does arise we want to be prepared. Our second ambition is to raise money and divide it among local businesses in Kilkenny who have been closed for an extended period during the various lockdowns, we know ourselves how challenging it has been to keep the doors open and we’d like to help those businesses who have contributed to various shows and sponsorship that we’ve held. We hope you will make a contribution to our fundraiser and remember no amount is too small.
