Funeral fund raising for Marc Antony KELLY

Marc Kelly - husband, father and friend has sadly passed away today Thursday 19th September at St John's hospice, Lancaster. Please uphold family and friends of Marc in your prayers. More details of arrangements will follow in due course.

Marc was only with us a short time at Gateway Church since being back in Kendal since March. He's had his challenges this year but all can say that we shared the same heart. My first time meeting Marc was at Manna House in Kendal was there was another Manc living here but he supported Manchester Utd!

Over the last 13 years I've got to know him and his heart for many people in the community of Kendal. He helped many people with meals, advice, support, funerals - the list goes on and on! I'm sure you can recall many memories with him. Marc's words with me before he passed away was that he wanted to be buried in Kendal and I need to honour that. If you are able to donate anything towards this - I know his family, friends and especially our church family would be really appreciative of any amount.

Marc worked for many people but special mention to Manna House, Step by Step, David Wilan and Driftwood.

There is no fixed date for a funeral as yet - but it will be a burial at Parkside road in Kendal.
