Marc Chandler.

Hello there. My Name is Cara Marsh and This photo is of my beautiful family. On the far right top, that is my wonderful Brother, Marc. Marc has been battling a Stage 4 Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer) the size of a tennis ball in his brain. He was diagnosed with this inoperable and cancerous brain tumor on Thanksgiving Day of 2023 and he has been fighting like hell every day since. Over this last weekend, on February 4th 2024 -we all received the most terrible and unimaginable news possible.The Chemotherepy and Radiation didn't do anything to the tumor in terms of helping Marc get better, shrinking the tumor to their liking, and so on.

My most precious Brother, Marc... isn't going to get better. He is now dying.

The plan now, is to either keep him in the hospital until he passes, or move him into Hospice Care back near his home in Edenton NC and leave The Duke University Hospital grounds. Every day, even every few hours, we get some sort of news on Marc and updates. Sometimes it's miniscule sometimes its major. For now - this is the newest update. The end of the story is being written and now, we just need to wait, be patient, be strong and be with him until he is ready to be with God.

We know that he is in pain, so they are keeping him comfortable, he's warm and cozy in bed, IV fluids going, and has a catheter in. Right now, he sleeps a lot. He's not walking, talking much if at all or eating at this time. The desire and strength has left his poor body.

These funds that I am asking for, is to help now with a lot of different things as they arise. First off, We are ALL needing Flights to get the families out there and all together. Next, we will need to figure out Hotels for families, Child Care, Food, Incidentals and such. Following that, we will need to help out if we can with Marc's Outstanding Medical Bills, and lastly... ..His Funeral Arrangements.

To those who Love and Adore Marc - know how selfless he is. How bright he is. How much he emitted light and love everywhere he went. He always showed such strength in all he did and in all he wanted to accomplish. He was so determined to live life to the fullest and he was on his way to building such a beautiful life for himself and his family.

Right now, I ask you all to please, send your Thoughts. Well wishes. Prayers. Positive Vibes. Love. Support and anything else you can muster to the Chandler and Marsh families. This loss will be a tremendous one. One in which we will always feel broken and incomplete.

In time, Marc will be out of pain and discomfort. He will be made whole again. Pure again and without any ailments. He will be at peace at last and back with his Father and Creater.
