Marc & Cindy Carrier family van purchase

Hi I am Everett Yoder from Paris, TN. I have been following the Marc Carrier family for several years on Facebook & we hosted them in our home for several nights in May 2018 when they were in the US.

They went to Africa self funded and used all their savings to fund the mission. They lived off grid in a hostile environment in the village for over 6 years before finally adding power and indoor plumbing just three years ago.

When they made it known that they are moving back to the states. Booking flights with Covid restrictions is very difficult & costly!   They only have  a mini van and the family with 10 children does not fit. I felt a need to raise funds to purchase a 15 passenger van for them. I found a Van in CA and the owner (I know him personally) is willing to hold it, I already have someone who is willing to fly out & bring the van to TN. Cost of the Van 19000.00 taxes & tags will be approx an additional 2000.00, any funds exceeding this would go towards their travel expenses.

The funds will be paid into our church fund, Living Hope Fellowship Church, Lobelville, TN deacon's Marvin Byler, Joni Mast & Treasurer Monroe Miller will be in charge of the funds for the van purchase.  Feel free to contact us with any questions! My Cell [phone redacted].

Here is a brief history of the mission

Marc and Cindy Carrier, and ten of their eleven children are moving back to America after serving on the mission field in Kenya for nine years. In Kenya, they have made hundreds of disciples and planted numerous churches in multiple countries with a distinctive kingdom belief and practice. They also founded a field ministry training school in Kenya serving local and international students that is focused on kingdom doctrine and apostolic practices. The Carriers were not originally from Christian homes, but rather were saved after marriage. They grew in maturity in evangelical churches and faithfully served in that environment. However, in time they became increasingly aware of the disparity between the literal teachings of Christ and modern Christianity. When they discovered the early church and early Anabaptist witness through David Bercot and other teachers, they at last found fellowship with these saints of the past. They purposed to pursue literal obedience to Christ and holiness as well as a commitment to evangelism and making disciples. Before moving to Kenya, the Carriers were active with evangelism, house church planting, writing, and speaking at home school conventions. By the Lord's leading, now that their older children are aging out of of their dependent status and the ministry leadership is established, the Carriers are relocating stateside. Their oldest son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren are remaining behind in Kenya. Marc will continue teaching quarterly at the Kenyan ministry school, while also serving stateside, encouraging and ministering to fellowships that desire to grow in front line ministry operations. The Carriers will also be managing family enterprises for their ongoing support. You can learn more about their ministry at Kingdom Driven Ministries .
