Marcel Carters Funeral Expenses.

UPDATE; My fathers spot in Oak grove cemetery and his stone is completely paid off !!!!!

Now his funeral has to be paid by 01/16/2024 if not my father can not have his funeral scheduled for 01/18/2024. My dad passed on 12/14/2023, the more we wait the less of a chance we have to have an open casket funeral and the more im here with my family suffering from worrying about raising the rest of the funds we need.

Hello everyone, my name is Amanda Carter.

My father Marcel Carter passed away 12/14/2023. My father was a caring man who’s smile & laugh could turn a room full of frowns upside down. His good spirit was as contagious as his smile was. He didn’t like conflict, he liked to have a good time and maybe end the night with some dancing, karaoke & a nice looking lady lol.

My father was a lady’s man who took very good care of himself until he was unable to anymore. He hated asking for help or not being unable to help others or not being able to do things on his own.

My family and myself have been trying to raise as much money as possible since he passed to cover his funeral cost with some luck but not enough to pay everything that we need to in a timely manner. We are forced to push his funeral date back because of funding issues. My father did not have life insurance. We tried but he was denied. My father can’t sit for long, he was put into refrigeration today till our expected funeral date on January 18th 2024.

We have made a total of $1,850.

The total cost at the cheapest options available is $10,500. That is without flower’s arrangement, his funeral decoration, his stone, etc.

This is why I’m asking for help to raise $15,000.

We got hit with this unbearable news right before Christmas. My dad has been very sick but we thought he would pull through, we thought he would eventually get better but right when we thought he was getting better, he was gone.

This is taking a lot for me to do this but I need to do it to make sure my father is laid to rest the right way. My father left behind 4 adult children (including Myself) and one 11 year old child that are all trying our hardest to get the money without needing help but anything will seriously help us at this time! If anyone wants to donate to the funeral home directly for my father, the funeral home We chose is Henderson Funeral Home on 52 Hancock Street Springfield Ma.

All you need to do is contact them and tell them you want to donate toward Marcel Carters funeral expenses. If you are planning on attending his funeral, we have to pay it completely off 2 days before it in order to have his funeral. So please no donations will be excepted at the funeral. My fathers funeral theme is the Dallas CowBoys with the colors WHITE, GOLD, BLUE & GREY.

Any help would truly mean the world to my family during this hard time.
