Marcelo San Roman's family fund

Marcelo San Román of Smithtown, New York was a husband, a father, a brother, a cousin, an ultrasound technician but most of all he was a warm loving person who could always make you laugh and he will be missed by many. Unfortunately, his big heart finally failed him on March 1, 2017, and at the age of 56 he had his final heart attack. He is survived by his wife Yolanda and his three children Marcelo Jr., Sofia and Sergio.
Marcelo lived the American dream. He migrated to America at the age of three, attended public schools and grew up playing all types of sports. He really enjoyed playing baseball and football. He loved four wheeling on the beach and was an avid surf casting fisherman. Despite appearing to be in great physical condition he had his first heart attack at the age of 43. Despite improving his diet, continuing to exercise and following his doctors’ advice he had four more heart attacks over the next ten years.
Marcelo’s known cardiac condition made it impossible for him to obtain and keep life insurance. This has left his wife of over 20 years and his three children ages 18, 17 and 14 in financial peril. Yolanda is a hard working administrative assistant but will be unable to make the monthly mortgage payment or afford to have their oldest son stay in the state college that he currently attends. Without financial assistance none of the children will be able to afford college.
