Thank you for being part of the 13th Annual March Comedy Madness where 100+ comedians participate in a one-on-one bracketed tournament style comedy event to raise money for the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation.
ABOUT OUR EVENT
Throughout March, shows will take place Wednesdays at The Point, Boston; Thursdays at John Harvard's, Cambridge; Fridays at Bent Water Brewing Company, Lynn; and Saturdays at MOOYAH (Tremont), Boston.
There is no ticket charge or cover for these shows. Entry is donation based, so come ready to show support and laugh and you may even donate right here and now! Each night tips off with special guest Ref performances and then features 8 comedians going head-to-head until one remains... decided by YOU the audience by decibel meter and judges/refs comedy metrics.
FIRST Round: 8 comedians x 3 minute sets. (Light at 2, whistle at 3:15)
SECOND Round: 4 comedians x 4 minute sets. (Light at 3, whistle at 4:15)
THIRD Round: 2 comedians x 5-7 minute sets. (Light at 5, whistle at 7:15)
Finalists move on to our FINALS & CHAMPIONSHIP show at LAUGH Boston, Wednesday, April 3, 2019!
ABOUT OUR CAUSE
The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation is the world’s leading donor-supported organization dedicated to finding the causes, improved treatments and cures for mental illnesses. The Foundation funds research across a broad range of mental illnesses including addiction, ADHD, anxiety, autism, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD and schizophrenia. 100% of donor contributions for research are invested in research grants.
