March for Science - South Carolina

MARCH FOR SCIENCE– SOUTH CAROLINA is an officially registered sister march of the March for Science in Washington DC.
On SATURDAY, APRIL 22, we will gather at the South Carolina State House to let our voices be heard about the value of science and to recognize how science serves society.
In order for our event to be a success—in order for us actually to be HEARD—we need a quality sound system, as well as chairs for those who need seating.
Please consider contributing a few dollars so that our amazing speaking lineup can audibly share the importance of science in all our lives.
And please follow the March for Science – South Carolina at: www.facebook.com/groups/1169874463081341/
"We are people who value science and recognize how science serves. We come from all races, all religions, all gender identities, all sexual orientations, all abilities, all socioeconomic backgrounds, all political perspectives, and all nationalities. Our diversity is our greatest strength: a wealth of opinions, perspectives, and ideas is critical for the scientific process. What unites us is a love of science, and an insatiable curiosity. We all recognize that science is everywhere and affects everyone." - https://www.marchforscience.com/
