The March for Science movement champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.
This GoFundMe campaign aims to raise money for the satellite March for Science in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Funds will be used to pay for city permits, promotional materials, and equipment rentals, and supplies for kids' activities.
We need initial funds as soon as possible to get things up and running, but we would appreciate any donation, no matter how small, up until the day of the main event, April 22nd, 2017.
