Marc's Medical Support Fund

Hello, I'm Marc's brother, Aaron.

Marc was hospitalized last week for severe acute pancreatitis.

On Saturday, Dec. 18th, he was intubated so his body could heal more efficiently and to stop the stress the pain and inflammation were causing on his other organs. Due to the rapid onset and timing of intubation, family was not notified until Sunday. As soon as we heard the news, Mom, Dad, and I drove straight to Georgia to be with Marc.

Currently, Marc is stable and improving slowly day by day. It's all baby steps to recovery.

He is still sedated and intubated. Each day, the doctors will continue to try to wake him up, but they want his body to be relaxed and not stressed so it can continue to heal effectively. It may take some time for Marc to come out of sedation to the doctor's satisfaction. However, everyone is optimistic that Marc will recover.
