Marcos and Hollie Rivera’s IVF Journey!

Hi! My name is Mondraian. I’m Hollie’s God sister and the one behind this fundraiser.

Marcos and Hollie have been happily married for 7 years, together for 12 and trying for a baby for 10. They’re a beautiful couple always showing up for family and friends. They have been there for me and would do anything for their loved ones. That’s why I’m making this fundraiser for them. They deserve some support along their IVF journey when they do so much good for others. As I’m sure you already know the IVF experience is far from easy navigating the insurance companies and countless fees and expenses. Not only will they make the most amazing parents but they deserve this opportunity.

Hollie has struggled with extensive medical issues battling a kidney disease most of her life. She received a kidney transplant but still deals with many complications from the surgery. She has suffered countless miscarriages and a stillbirth.

In 2022, they thought they were finally starting their family when Hollie became pregnant once more. Our whole family celebrated and welcomed the arrival of a baby girl. But, because of medical complications their daughter came early. She was only here with us for a short while before passing away. Marcos and Hollie were devastated by the loss and have spent thousands of dollars in medical bills.

Now, they have been going through the the process of IVF through surrogacy and it’s been very expensive and taxing on them both emotionally and financially. Everyday, they’re experiencing new fees, cost and the medical bills keep climbing.

Through all of this Hollie and Marcos remain faithful, never asking for help and have been willing to give up whatever is necessary. That’s why I’m making this gofundme. Even the strongest of people need help at times.
