Marcus and Jennifer Luke could use your help.

We all know Marcus. If any of us go to California or Texas or Florida or anywhere else and mention that we play pickleball in North Carolina, the next words are always, "Oh, do you know Marcus Luke?" Marcus knows us all, and has always worked hard to be everyone's friend on and around the pickleball scene. He plays at any level with anyone. He got a lot of us started at pickleball in the first place. He's often been seen giving away paddles to kids hanging out around the pickleball courts.

Now Marcus and his wife Jennifer are in their toughest fight. As most of you know, Jennifer has been diagnosed with a highly aggressive cancer. Her fight is relentless and continues every day. Marcus calls her his warrior. Jennifer is spending weeks at a time in the hospital, fighting hard, with Marcus always by her side.

Marcus and Jennifer are a proud family, and would never ask for help. That's why we are doing it for them. If you've seen hospital and doctor bills, you know they add up, even if you have good insurance. Combine that with the extras of travel to doctors and the inability to work, and expenses increase very fast.
