Help with Funeral expenses for Marcus Avalos

Hi, my name is Chad and I am raising funds to help offset the cost of a memorial service and funeral for Marcus Avalos. Marcus passed away tragically this past Saturday, 21 October 2023. He was only 21 years old with his whole life still ahead of him. I’ve known Marcus for over 16 years and he was like a second son to me and my family and especially for my brother Troy and Marcus’ Aunt Virginia, as they actually raised Marcus for several years while he was living with them. The whole family is devastated and in shambles, and trying to find the strength to accept this tragedy and be able to move on from their loss. I’m just tying to do anything that I can to help ease the stress and financial burden suddenly placed on the Avalos family.

Here is just a brief glimpse into the beautiful life of Marcus:

Marcus was born on 22 May 2002

He was so full of life and always loved being the center of attention. His laugh was contagious and always brought a smile to everyone around him. He was an amazing artist with phenomenal talent. Even at such a young age, his artwork was legendary.

He loved collecting comic books with the “Joker” being his favorite DC character and “Venom” being his favorite Marvel character. He loved Transformers and his favorite one was Soundwave. He would always say that he was born in the wrong era and wished that he would have been born in the 80s because they had all the best toys and cartoons back then.

He was also a huge Star Wars fan, enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, listening to music.

His favorite holiday, by far, was Halloween. He loved everything about it, from carving pumpkins, to dressing up in costumes, and was a huge contributor and inspiration in building our annual haunted house. He looked forward to it every year.

Marcus was a true blessing to everyone who knew him and brought joy and happiness to us all. I watched him grow from a little kid into a kind, caring, and respectful young man who had so much to live for. Marcus was a part of my family and he will forever be missed…and never forgotten.
