The Marc Wood Fund

Marc wood was my sisters fiancé, a true gentleman, a valued member of my family and the father to my sisters unborn son, step farther to her daughter Maliheh, and a father to his own daughter Lilly. Marc was a intellectual, handsome, hilarious, charismatic and above all loving family man. My sister sharzad and Marc got engaged a year ago. At a surprise birthday party that was initially meant for Marc but in true Marc fashion he managed to make it all about somebody else by proposing to my sister. Forwarding to recent times. Marc and Sharz recently purchased their first home together after receiving the news that my sister Sharzad was pregnant with Marc’s son. A truly joyous time for us all... but Marc also had his fair share of complications. Beneath his smile he was hurting and hiding a pain that he couldn’t live with no longer. on the 8th of may just under two weeks from mine and Marc’s birthday Marc took his own life unexpectedly in their soon to be home, and now our lives will never be the same. My sister sharzad is completely broken. As she was first to the scene and found Marc’s body upstairs. To me it feels like time has frozen still. The life we once knew has been changed forever and now we have no choice but to rebuild for our family. As tuff as it is. I myself am starting the Marc wood fund to finish Marc and Sharzad’s home, because at the moment the house is unfinished and half a building site. At this time my sister has 4 months before hers and Marc’s unborn son arrives. I have spent the last 48 hours glued to my sister, experiencing her pain with her. She and I both want to fulfill Marc’s dream of building his family home and completing his work. Every penny raised will be put toward their future and as her youngest brother I urge all my supporters to gang together and help me and my family at this desperate time of need. I love you all. I couldn’t of ask for better group of supporters and I need that support now more than ever. Thank you all, Mic.
