Marek Serafin

The world lost a special person on August 14, 2023. My father, Marek Serafin, lost his battle with brain cancer.

He was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma (brain tumor) in September of 2021 and was given a very short runway of time with us. With the help of our family, his medical team, his fighting spirit, and his stubbornness, he survived an amazing 23 months after diagnosis. For reference, the average glioblastoma survival timing is 12 months and only 25% of patients survive more than one year.

We learned a lot along the way and we want to honor my dad by raising awareness and donating to others in need of support.

Proceeds will be donated to avenues that extended Marek’s life beyond the prognosis such as glioblastoma research foundations, clinical trials and new medical interventions. All of which are currently helping those diagnosed with this terrible disease, continue their fight.
