Help Margaret's family after horrific car crash
Donation protected
Hi, my sister Margaret Grade is a single mom with 15 yr old twins in Inverness, California. On January 11th, 2024 she was in a horrible accident in her 1986 BMW. I started this project to help out with her family's day-to-day activities. Donations have helped me to hire help to take her twins to school everyday and keep the house & yard in tip top shape for my sisters return.
Margaret has always been so generous with others and would never ask for help for herself. I’m the different sibling-having been a self supporting veterinary missionary in NE Uganda for 15 years and selling books door to door so that I never took out a single student loan through my DVM and Ethnobotany PhD.
With your donations, we hired Bradley, who's known/worked at Manka's to help get her house ready and to care for the kids (cooking, yard work, driving to/fro school, homework, laundry etc) for $1000/wk up until Margaret’s death 2/28. During my sisters hospital time- Bradley and I enjoyed being “Team Margaret” for her family and ongoing project. Team Margaret balanced with the twin’s father, Daniel.
As you know, our family is very private about our health, so I won't be sharing details. My best friend and sister passed away surrounded by her family on February 28 at 7:58pm.
If you have any questions -please contact Johanna. She didn’t want any visitors, only her sisters Johanna (our family matriarch), and myself. For medical questions- our brother Matt is the best resource- he was in contact from Wisconsin by phone with Jo and the medical team.
Please help us to support and empower Margaret’s legacy. Thank you, and thank you for your prayers and well wishes.
Please consider sending short videos to my phone, or cards to PO Box 408, Inverness Ca 94937 so that we can encourage MGs family, especially her twins.
Our family will be celebrating MGs life the last weekend in May in Olema, California. 11am memorial service at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, followed by a celebration of life on Black Mountain. For more details- contact the matriarch Josie or big brother Matt.
Baby Jean- never matters how old I am- the remaining siblings still treat me like I’m 10.
