Marge Is A Lovable Problem Child
Donation protected
This is Marge. I named her because she has that typically raspy, tux voice. She's adorable and LOVES people. She seems to be able to eventually settle with other cats as well based on what I've observed. I just want to get her spayed, chipped, vaccinated and treated as she's been a (super friendly) stray for at least a year or two in the Lakeland FL area.
Poor girl was living at the corner store I go to. The night before I trapped her it was 45 degrees and she was soaked because it had rained all day. At first I suspected she was pregnant, which doesn't seem to be the case now. So a foster who was planning on taking her under emergency circumstances told me they wouldn't take her if she was just a regular adult stray.
This girl has a lot of heart. She's SUPER sweet. She doesn't totally get along with other animals but isn't super aggressive to them either. She LOVES people. She just needs a chance and I want to give it to her. I took her in, and I will see to all of her vet needs. But I cannot be her permanent home. But in the meantime maybe we can band together and give her a temporary respite.
The bill is a bit high because Marge coming into our world was poorly timed. I want to get her treated and spayed, but I will be out of town in the next few days so she'll need to be boarded at the vet for up to 4 nights as she's in recovery. At that time I'll bring her back to us and figure out her next step.
I will post the final vet bills when all is said and done. If we raise more than we needed, 75% will be donated to "A Kitten Place" in Brandon, FL as they are the most active and passionate cat rescue in our area. The other 25% will go to me, as I'm exhausted and will be replenishing all of my exhausted resources, cleaning up, and preparing to take the next reject into my house to stress me out. Trolling will be attempted, receipts will be provided to the penny.
