Marge (Margaret) Wucki

Hi,

I’m Laurie, and I’m a friend of Marge (some of you know her as Margaret). I’ve been fortunate to have worked with and still do work with Marge for over 20 years in two different careers. Her teammates in the office describe her as a loving, caring, funny, hilarious, expressive, dramatic and happy person. But as of last week, Marge is undergoing chemotherapy and soon radiation for breast cancer which killed her Mother many years ago. As a single woman, having never been married, she is shouldering the responsibility of paying for her living expenses on one income. Added to her regular payments now is the cost of Cancer treatments, doctor visits and medications that Medicare does not cover. Factor in the sick days off from work that are not paid for. Struggling to make ends meet is too much stress for her to be strong while feeling pain and nausea from the treatments intended to save her life. I’d like her to be able to give 200% to her treatment and recovery and not worry about finances.

I know firsthand how hard it is to have one income and the challenge to keep out of financial trouble. This illness has propelled Marge into the debt category, where she risks losing her home and her life. It’s essential as caring human beings to support our friends and women we don’t know who are facing this Cancer challenge by giving our love and support. We also need to help by providing money to another person who sincerely needs it. Any funds raised will go towards paying Marge’s medical bills.
