Hilary Anderson-Steinhaus Memorial Services

Our best friend, Margo Steinhaus, lost her mom, Hilary, this week to advanced, metastatic colon cancer and severe pneumonia. This loss came after Hilary's life-altering stroke in June 2022. Needless to say, Margo, her brother Torey, and her dad, Kirk, have had a devastating year.

Since 2019 Kirk has been retired due to disability and in a skilled nursing facility for a year, in the same room as his wife, Hilary. Before her stroke, Hilary was Kirk's primary caretaker.

Hilary shared her end-of-life wishes before she passed, which was for her friends and loved ones to celebrate her life at Skaja Funeral Home in Niles, IL -- the same funeral home that celebrated the lives of Hilary's mom, aunts, uncles, and grandmother.

Hilary was a woman who did nothing but take care of others, particularly her children. Please consider giving whatever you can to help Margo and Torey take care of their mother’s services, to give her the celebration she deserves. No amount is too small.
