Margot Martin's Cancer Treatment Fund

As many of you probably know, Margot has been dealing with severe stomach issues for the past year or so. She visited countless doctors in attempt to figure out what was wrong, but never got a clear answer. Recently, the problem worsened, leaving her unable to eat or drink anything without intense pain and discomfort. On December 21st, Margot was having extreme stomach pains and was rushed to the ER at Vanderbilt Children’s hospital. The next day, after many tests, we learned that even the best people can receive the worst news. She has cancer at only 17 years old. 

Margot recently underwent a major extensive surgery to remove the cancerous tumor from her stomach.  Following surgery, she will go through at least 6 months of  chemotherapy treatment to try and keep the cancer under control. The money raised here will help her single mother with the hospital bills, cost of surgery, chemotherapy treatments, and general day to day expenses. But on top of that, it will support a family that, despite this unexpected battle, continues to find a way to be some of the most loving and positive people you will ever come across. 

Margot is the type of person that brightens up your day the moment you see her. She is kind, compassionate, selfless, generous, and everything you could ever need in a friend. Anyone is lucky to have Margot in their life, and she is worth every thought, penny, or prayer that you are willing to give.
