Margot Ostrander's TBI Recovery Fund

On Thursday evening, September 19th, Margot was in a horse related accident at her home. She is currently in the Neuro/Trauma ICU at Hurley Medical Center. If you know Margot, you know she is the strongest, most determined bad-ass on the face of this earth, and because of that she is going to get through this. She is stable and doing better each day, but her brain is suffering from a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Therefore, while her body heals from the trauma, her brain is keeping her asleep most of the time. We have to be patient and supportive as she heals.

We are so fortunate to have a giant support system of people that love Margot and her family. Jeff and the boys are hanging in there and we are making sure they get enough rest, nourishing food, and lots of prayers. In order for the family to focus on Margot’s recovery 100 percent, we don’t want them to have to worry about finances. Gas to and from the hospital, food, time away from work, and lost wages will start to take their toll soon (and I’m not even thinking about future medical bills at the moment). If we can ensure the bills are paid, all our energy can be focused on Margot.
