Mari Maldonado Medical Expenses

Hello, we are the older children of Mari and Lorenzo Maldonado. We are reaching out to you all for help with our mother's medical expenses.

In Dec of 2023, our mother began experiencing chronic headaches, back pain and vision issues. after her condition worsened, she was admitted into the hospital for testing. An MRI was ordered and a small mass behind her right eye was found,

a biopsy was done and confirmed our worst fear, Cancer. After multiple tests our Beautiful mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer,

a huge shock to our family as our mother has never been a smoker. While our Mother is unable to work, our Father has taken the job as sole provider for the family. Not only are the bills increasingly piling up, we also have 2 younger siblings in the home needing to be cared for.

Our parents have never been the type of people to ask for help. My mother raised 4 children, helped raise her grandchildren, cared for her sick sister, sick mother, and adopted our younger cousins from our sick aunt who passed away.

She also helped care for our sister, Barb, who fought and beat Breast Cancer. Our Mother is a Saint and has always done things for others and never herself, it is time for us to take care of her.

Our Father has been an amazing provider for our Family and we want to take the stress off of him and hope to raise enough funds to cover the medical aspect of it. We are very Thankful of our Sister in Law Jen who has been there for our Mother since day one and does all she can to care for her. She makes and takes her to the medical appointments, does her daily care and also helps care for our younger siblings, in addition to caring for her own family of 3.

We also want to Thank everyone for their continued prayers and words of encouragement, they have truly been inspiring and Help our Faith be Strong.
