Dear Friends and Family of Angel and Daniel,

Angel was hospitalized for 74 days after contracting COVID, despite being fully vaccinated. Despite the hospital restrictions, God made a way for Daniel to start his morning and end each evening by visiting with Angel. With the many prayers of family and friends, Angel began to recover, was taken off sedation, and briefly, Daniel was able to communicate with Angel by reading her lip, as she was still on the ventilator. However, she soon relapsed. Daniel prayed and asked God to allow Angel to not experience pain or suffering, and he feels that his request was answered when her medical team placed her into a deep sedation before she closed her eyes for the last time.

We have established this page due to the overflowing requests from friends and family wanting to contribute financially to laying Angel to rest. Daniel has expressed apprehension about establishing this page and wants everyone to understand that your support is greatly appreciated; however, he also wants you to know that he is not soliciting any money. Your prayers, words of encouragement, friendship, calls, hugs, and shared tears are most appreciated during this time and the days ahead. Thank you for everything and know that you are deeply appreciated.
