Maria Cedillo

As many of our loved ones know, my mom Maria Cedillo has been fighting stage 4 breast cancer since summer of 2019. While the doctors knew there was no cure for her diagnosis they helped her live as comfortably as possible. She was a woman of many roles; educator, sister, father and most importantly mother to 2 wonderful young adults Jaime and Juanita. She dedicated 25 years of her life to DISD by helping shape young minds as well as being a helpful hand to many parents. A very selfless woman who despite her condition she continued to stay dedicated to her profession regardless of the difficulty she was facing on a daily basis. Unfortunately she did not win her battle with cancer, but she has gained her peace and her long awaited rest that she has been battling so hard for. We would like to take this moment to welcome and thank everybody in advance who would like to and is able to donate towards this cause.
