Hi my name is Jon DaSilva (Maria's son),

Recently my mother suffered from an acute stroke while she was working at a clients house. We are currently still at the hospital while she is waiting to be discharged to go to a rehabilitation facility. My mother is a wonderful woman that is always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. She loves her church and is a God fearing woman, always spreading Gods love. Moments like these can get pretty tough, but our family is trying our hardest to stay positive. People have been asking me how they can assist, and because she won't be working right now, donations will be the biggest help at the moment. We appreciate all the monetary support we can receive.
