Hi My name is Bianca, and one of my dearest friends, Marisa Zavala, has recently suffered the very painful and sudden loss of her mother Luz, who was diagnosed with cancer in July of 2023.

In the process of beginning her treatment plan she had many complications and setbacks. She was hospitalized on September 27, 2023 at which time her health took a dramatic and unexpected turn that would ultimately take her life.

Marisa had to leave her job to care for her Mom full-time since the on-set of her illness. As you can imagine, this has crippled her family financially and her untimely passing has added yet another layer of difficulties they must now navigate.

I am reaching out to my amazing tribe for any help you may be able to provide. I know this is a BIG ask especially around the Holidays but I assure you no amount is too small, and will be greatly appreciated.
