With deep sadness, we announce that Maria del Pilar Matta, a loving and dedicated mother, a unique and special wife, a devoted and caring daughter, and the heart and soul of the Matta and Ortiz family, has left us today, September 17th, 2024. She was a person whose passions where to always do what she could to care for others, and especially animals. Her departure has left an immense void in our hearts and lives.

After bravely fighting a tough battle with cancer for over a year, the cancer ultimately won. Her love for life and her family was unmatched, and she was a great example of strength even in her hardest moments. Despite her struggles, she always found the positive side of everything.

During this difficult time, we are asking for your support to help raise funds for the funeral services, allowing the family to focus on mourning her loss without the added worry of financial burdens. The funds raised will go towards the service itself as well as the transportation, viewing, and cremation of the loved mother.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will help us honor her memory as she deserves.
