Help the Iese family through their loss

Donation protected
Thursday, October 21st, the Iese family was hit with the unthinkable when they learned that in a senseless and random act of violence, a shooter had taken the lives of their loved ones.

Maria, proud mom of 7, had just picked up her son Emery, who graduated high school this last year, from his new job. On the way home they made a stop at a relatives house where in the front yard both Maria and Emery, along with Maria’s brother, Raymond and Raymond’s girlfriend, Natasha were shot and killed by an unknown suspect.

No one should ever have to endure the pain that the family is feeling. Maria and Emery are survived by loving husband and father Louie, who is a pastor at a local church and 6 other children/ siblings, my best friend Mary, Inocente, Alofa, Mia, Lavender and the youngest, Andy aged 4. The shock of this crime has shaken this family and as a community I hope we can come together in support. All victims lived selflessly, always loving and putting others first.

With that said please contribute in any way you can. Funds raised will be given to the Iese family to cover expenses associated with laying Maria and Emery to rest.

—— Update October 23rd:
Wow Mary and I are so blown away that we met the original goal of $10,000 in just one day! I’m increasing the goal to $20,000 so that people are still encouraged to share and give to the family. All of the victims gave so much to their community and though money isn’t going to change what the family is going through, I hope that it’s one less thing that they have to worry about. Mary and her family shared some words about their loved ones I’m also going to link that article here: https://www.thenewstribune.com/news/local/crime/article255208121.html#storylink=mainstage_lead

There will be a candlelit vigil tonight (10/23) at Lister Elementary in Tacoma at 7pm honoring those who tragically lost their lives. Anyone is welcome to join. Bring a plant in honor of Maria, wear Raiders gear in honor of Emery, 49ers gear in honor of Raymond, or wear beaded jewelry in honor of Natasha.
