My Name is Asher Goldenberg in the past 2 years I've gone through cardiac arrest while in surgery. I recovered but now suffered a heart attack. The heart attack happened between jobs so now I'm unemployed while recovering from the heart attack. My mother passed away in Toronto. She left no funeral funds. She suffered being I'll for a long time. I have a household with 2 young kids and wife works part time. I'm in the process of a challenging time. I don't like asking I'm usually the giver but I'm in a situation beyond my control and strength. My mom was forced to be strong having to leave school to earn a living to take care of her younger sister and ill mother, while her father ran off with women. At age 12 she had to work. She lived with her left eye blinded at birth. Her eye was deliberately damaged for being Jewish in Romania during German occupation. She suffered with a strange eye being made fun of as a child in the little school time she had. She worked hard to keep family happy. She kept positive always lending a hand with a smile to which I carry with me. It's painful losing her more painful than I ever imagined it's hard on my heart and spirit I'm lost in pain. I need to rebuild my strength and I know that. Any donation is appreciated in future I will do my part to contribute to others in need to continue the cycle.
