FUNDRAISER FOR FLORES FAMILY BOYLE HEIGHTS

(UPDATE BELOW) Hi, my name is Mónica Flores and I'm raising money to pay for my mothers funeral. My mother, María Inés, was known as Inecita by her closest friends. She was a caregiver to my elderly father Antonio, who has dementia and his older sister, María. She loved chatting on her phone with her friends for hours, she was always the first to wish her nieces and nephews a happy birthday by playing "Las mañanitas" over the phone and loved to take plates of food to her neighbors. A self described gardener, my mother loved plants of any kind. We are still in shock and in disbelief as she passed under tragic circumstance that also contributed to the destruction of our home. We are asking for support as we are unprepared for the cost that it takes to bury a loved one, plus hospice care for our father and aunt, who are currently recovering in the hospital. UPDATE:

Sadly our father, Antonio, did not survive the fire. He passed away almost a week after our mom due to the severe smoke inhalation. We thank the Lord that we still have my aunt, my fathers older sister, and we pray that we find a safe place for her to stay now that our mom is no longer here to care for her. Thank you all for all your continued prayers and support. My brothers and I are ever so grateful for all of you.

Thank you to all who have supported us. I don't think I (and my siblings) will ever live long enough in this lifetime to pay back all the wonderful people who have donated to us and prayed for us and our family. Our aunt is currently in a skilled nursing center, safe and secure. Her well being and rebuilding of our lives after our parents death is our main focus now. I am beyond grateful for all of you, especially strangers who gave w/o ever meeting us. You are a true blessing. We are humbly grateful for your kindness and consideration. Gracias y Dios los bediga.
