Maria Isabel Betancourt de Moreno
Donation protected
In the face of imaginable loss, we find ourselves reaching out to our community, to family , to friends for support once again. This time, it’s to honor the memory of Maria Isabel Betancourt de Moreno aka Chabela, a pillar of strength who endured more than any one person should ever have to.
Tragically, Chabela experienced the loss of her beloved husband just 18 months ago , and before she could fully heal from that devastating blow, she was confronted with another profound sorrow - the passing of her son just 7 months after loosing her beloved husband.
Chabela carried the weight of her family’s sorrow with courage as she faced her own unimaginable pain after being diagnosed with a terminal illness just one month after her sons passing.
With unwavering courage , Chabela embarked a 10-month battle against the relentless disease. Despite the grueling treatments and debilitating side effects, she faced each day with a smile.
Chabela leaves behind two daughters, Gladys and Yahaira, who have had to deal with the immense challenges the family has faced the last 18 months.
As we prepare to lay Chabela to rest we’re confronted not only with the profound emotional toll of her passing but also with the practical realities of arranging a funeral service.
We are reaching out to anyone who may be willing to lend a helping hand during this incredibly difficult time. Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing our story, will make a world of a difference to us.
Every contribution will go directly toward honoring Chabela’s memory and ensuring that she receives the dignified farewell she deserves.
Chabela touched the lives of so many , now in her memory we humbly ask for your help. Your contribution no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness , your support , and for keeping Chabelas spirit alive in your thoughts and prayers.
With Gratitude
