Maria Lall Memorial and Legacy

“Where is Maria?” Known to many as the “Power of One”, Maria Lall is often found working tirelessly in many of the gardens in our local parks. Over the last several weeks, her disappearance has not gone unnoticed. Many in the community are asking about her. It breaks our hearts. On Monday August 2nd,  

Maria lost her battle with cancer. She fought valiantly until the very end, even volunteering in the park until she no longer had the strength. And even then, from her hospital bed she coordinated volunteers on her cell!

Even in death she seeks to serve us.  If you wish to send flowers, she asked instead to make a donation for the purchase of tulips to plant in Isham Park Alley on her behalf. What an incredible opportunity we have to share in her legacy. 

Thank you for your support. Share a favorite memory with her. At a later date we will organize an event to come together to plant the tulips. Her service will be held at 1815 Riverside Drive on August 21st, at 11am. You are welcome to attend.
