Maria Narcisa Casteñeda-Valenzuela

Hello Valenzuela family and extended family members! I'm creating a Go-FundMe page to help pay for a headstone for Maria Narcisa Casteñeda-Valenzuela - the Matriarch of the Valenzuela family.

Narcisa is the wife of Jose Onofre Valenzuela (1847-1930). Onofre and Narcisa are the parents of Martin Casteñeda Valenzuela (1882-1967) grandpa Merjildo's father. I have been researching our family tree and recently learned that Narcisa is buried at St Francis Cemetery and she does not have a headstone (she died in 1914). I also found that her second youngest son Carlos is buried in the same plot and also does not have a headstone.

Tia Josie Sanders and I have chosen the headstone above to honor the memory of the Matriarch of the family as well as honor our Great Grand Uncle, Carlos C. Valenzuela.
