Maria Perez (Yaya)

Hello everyone, as many of you knew my mother Yaya got very sick recently. Two Mondays ago she was taken to the hospital here in Kingsville with stroke symptoms. Only to find out that she had 3 strokes back to back and was not able to talk or have any movement on her left side. She ended being transferred to Corpus on Thursday. They did numerous tests and had her on dialysis because her kidney function was little to none. Yesterday the 16th she ended up having a major stroke during one of her dialysis treatments then in turn having a major heart attack. They kept her comfortable only to find out she was an organ donor. They were supposed to transfer her to Dallas on the 19th to get her going on that but ended up having another major heart attack today. The family ended up making a decision to let their mother rest in peace. We appreciate all the calls and texts during this difficult time.
